Sir Robert (Bobby) Charlton

The Trustees and Staff of the Players Foundation were very sad to hear of the death of the football legend that is Sir Bobby Charlton.

We wish to extend our heart felt condolences to Sir Bobby’s family especially Lady Norma and all of his family and friends. We know many tributes have been pouring in from all over the world which is clear proof of Sir Bobby’s ability but also reflects the warmth of the character of Sir Bobby.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
